We have made this decision to better protect our customers.

You will need the credit card account number from which you would like to transfer a balance, as well as the amount you would like to request transferred.

How long does it take to process a balance transfer to my Regions credit card?

Are there any cash advances limits?

There is no minimum cash advance amount. Cardholders are governed by ATM access and cash advance per day rules of the bank from which they are requesting the advance. Please log in to Regions Online Banking to view the total amount of cash available from your credit card account by selecting the account and viewing the "Cash Available Credit."

Is there a fee for taking a cash advance?

Yes. All cash advances are subject to a cash advance fee in addition to the associated Annual Percentage Rate for Cash.  Customers should refer to their cardholder agreement for detailed information on applicable cash advances.

What is Annual Percentage Rate (APR)?

The annual percentage rate or APR is the interest rate charged on credit card balances. The APR is applied each month that an outstanding balance is present on a credit card.

Where can I view the APR used to calculate interest on my credit card account?

You can view the Annual Percentage Rates (APR) for your credit card account on your statement. To access your statement, click "Online Statements" from the Accounts tab in Regions Online Banking.

What is an interest charge? When does it occur?

An interest charge is the sum of interest on your credit card account, and it is broken down by transaction type: purchases, cash advances, and balance transfers. If you pay less than the full balance, or pay after the payment due date, then you will pay interest on those purchases. Please note: cash advances and balance transfers have no grace period, which means they start accruing interest as soon as the transaction is made.

What is the difference between my "current balance" and "available credit"?
Your current balance is the total of all the posted transactions as of the previous business day. Your available credit is the amount that is figured by taking your credit limit and subtracting your current balance (or amount already used) plus any outstanding authorizations that have not posted yet.

**Note: This amount can change throughout the day as charges come in. For example: Hotel merchants may use your Credit Card to make a reservation, but once you arrive at the hotel you may pay them with a check. Therefore the Hotel could withhold $200 of your available credit, until you fulfill payments to them.
