| In the event that your wallet is lost or stolen, please know that Regions bankers are here to assist you in protecting your accounts. Simply visit a local branch, speak to a Regions Direct Banking associate by calling 1-800-REGIONS from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., or report your lost/stolen ATM or CheckCard through the automated option on the VRU, 24 hours a day.
Lost/Stolen Checks After reporting your loss, a Regions banker will then walk you through the process of stopping payments on checks and/or closing your checking and savings accounts. In order to expedite this process, try to locate your account numbers, make a list of outstanding checks that you have written and their amount, and provide the check numbers that are missing.
Lost/Stolen Visa CheckCards If your CheckCard has been misplaced or stolen, a Regions banker will disable your current card and order you a new card once you report it. You will receive your new card in the mail within 7 to 10 business days. |
