RegionsNet General FAQs
Answers to your questions.
We have compiled these questions using input from several different areas including Regions' Customer Service department. However, please remember that an "FAQ" section is simply a listing of frequently asked questions - if your question is not answered here, feel free to call us at 1-800-REGIONS (1-800-734-4667).

Why does the amount of a debit card transaction in my current day activity not match the amount on my receipt?
The amount appearing in your current day activity is the amount approved when the merchant originally received authorization. For example: A restaurant will originally authorize the amount of the total check and add an estimated tip, but you may add a tip that is different than the estimated tip to that amount when signing your receipt. When the transaction is actually processed, the entire amount that you signed on the receipt is then debited from the account

Who can I call if I have questions or concerns about debit card transactions?
