Over the last year, the company has reached out to more than 100,000 of its mortgage holders through its Customer Assistance Program, which helps individuals and families keep their homes and avoid foreclosure.

Regions launched this extensive program in late 2007, well before the full effects of the credit crisis were realized by most consumers and businesses. Through this comprehensive program, the company has taken the initiative to help distressed borrowers by providing long-term solutions that address their individual needs. The result: a foreclosure rate that is approximately half the national average.

Regions also helps to strengthen neighborhoods by working with organizations such as NeighborWorks and local HUD-certified housing counseling agencies. These partnerships ensure that all homeowners in our community have access to the support they need.
