Management Associate Program - Phase II

Management Associate – Credit Training
Centralized in Birmingham, Alabama, the Management Associate Credit Training is a 9-week long intensive program where you will be challenged each step of the way. You will learn about analyzing a company’s credit and spreading financial statements. You’ll gain an in-depth knowledge of Regions Risk Rating Model using a hands-on approach. There is even a 1 week market visit to allow you to make application of your classroom learning prior to completion of your training program.

Management Associate – Finance Development Program
The Regions Finance Development Program is designed to provide associates work experience in the Finance and Accounting departments in order to develop strong financial analysts and accountants; and create future organizational leaders.
Upon completion of Phase I, FDP associates will begin their 4- six month rotations in Finance and Accounting with hands-on and classroom training, mentorship with Finance leaders, and career development.
4 – Six Month Rotation assignments include:

  • Corporate Finance
  • Corporate Accounting
  • Investor Relations
  • Corporate Planning, Reporting, and Analysis
  • Treasury
  • Internal Audit
  • Corporate Tax

Upon successful completion of all rotations, associates will be placed in a finance or accounting role.

Candidates should be well-rounded with a strong academic background.

NOTE: Minimum GPA of 3.2 required. Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Quantitative Analytics, Computer Science, or Engineering.

Position will be located at Regions corporate office in Birmingham, AL.

Management Associate- Quantitative Development Program

The Regions Quantitative Development Program is designed to provide associates work experience in order to develop strong quantitative analysts and create future organizational leaders.

The Regions Quantitative Development Program provides hands-on and classroom training, mentorship with leaders, and career development.

4 – Six Month Rotation assignments include:

  • Risk Analytics- 2 rotations
  • Assets/Liability Management
  • Model Validation

Upon successful completion of all rotations, associates will be placed in a quantitative role.

Candidates should have a strong academic background.

NOTE : Minimum GPA of 3.2 required. Since this area is cross-disciplinary, candidates will have a combination of undergraduate and graduate degrees in a quantitative discipline: Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Finance or Economics.
Candidates should have demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, leadership, communication skills, relationship building and teamwork through extracurricular activities, academic pursuits and internship/work experience.
