Growing up in Peachtree City, GA, Sheppard focused on basketball and made his dreams a reality when he received a scholarship to Kentucky. He became part of two SEC championships and was named to the Academic All-SEC team in 1995. He was also voted to the Southeastern Conference Third Team All-SEC team, the All-NCAA Regional team, and was named All-NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player in 1998.
Following graduation, Sheppard played in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks and then played professional basketball in Italy.
Sheppard speaks in over 100 schools per year and provides free basketball camps through Operation UNITE, a drug awareness program in Kentucky. He also speaks for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a church youth worker.
The drive that gave Sheppard the ability to accomplish his childhood dream is also what helps make his business a success. “Teams win Championships on and off of the floor. The lessons learned from being a small part of two National Championship teams at Kentucky hopefully taught me how to win championships now off of the floor.”
