Regions follows strict information security procedures designed to protect the confidentiality of your information. We also use the latest technology to ensure the confidentiality of your banking data. Advances in security technology occur frequently, and Regions continually evaluates our security environment to ensure that it provides the highest level of privacy and safety for our customers.
What does this locked padlock symbol mean?
The locked padlock symbol indicates that the information you submit on this website is safe and secure. We will protect the information you supply by encrypting it. Regions uses digital certificates to assure that when you access our secured Web sites, you are actually communicating with Regions and not an imposter.
Why is the padlock not displayed at the bottom of the browser when I am on the homepage?
Regions has secured the login portion of our homepage without securing the entire page. This allows for fast access to our homepage as well as the ability to display the login box on every page within our site. This gives you the added convenience of logging on from any page on our site without having to navigate back to the homepage.
Once you log in to Regions Online Banking, all of the pages are secure and there will always be a locked padlock displayed in the lower right hand corner of your browser.
