Cashback Rewards FAQs

Welcome to the Regions Cashback Rewards® program (the "Program"). The Program offers Regions Online Banking customers the opportunity to earn cash rewards when using a Regions Visa® CheckCard or Regions Now Card® to make purchases at participating retailers or service providers. Rewards are conveniently credited directly to your checking account or Now Card – it's that easy.

 

 

What is Regions Cashback Rewards?
Regions Cashback Rewards is a rewards program in which Regions Online Banking customers may receive offers to earn cash back for using their Regions Visa CheckCard or Regions Now Card to make purchases at participating retailers or service providers. When available, personalized rebate offers will be displayed on your Account Detail screen on Regions Online Banking. There is no limit to the cash back a rewards participant can earn. So, the more ways you use your Cards, the more offers you can receive and the more money you can earn!

 

Do I need to enroll in the Program?
No, if you have an active Regions checking account. CheckCard or Now Card and are enrolled in Online Banking, the Program is automatically available to you.

 

Is the Program free?
Regions Cashback Rewards is a free program, so there is no cost to you. This Program is just one of the many benefits of banking with Regions.

 

Will all of my Cards be eligible for Regions Cashback Rewards?
Active checking accounts with an associated CheckCard as well as Now Cards are eligible for the Program and are automatically enrolled. Savings and Money Market accounts are not eligible for the Program.

 

How do I earn rewards?
Program offers are based on how you use your CheckCard or Now Card. Offers are tailored to your purchases to ensure they are relevant to you. The more you use your CheckCard or Now Card, the more likely you are to receive offers. To earn rewards, simply activate the offer by clicking it when it appears on your Online Banking page. Each offer will have different qualifications and must be activated to qualify for the cash back reward. Once the offer is activated, use your CheckCard or Now Card at the participating retailer or service provider to pay for the transaction. Please read the details to determine how to redeem each offer and receive rewards.

 

Where do I go to see offers?
Your personalized offers are located on the Transactions page within Online Banking, underneath related transactions. A listing of all offers is located on the Regions Cashback Rewards Summary page. This page contains offers available for activation, activated offers and redeemed offers as well as specifics for each offer, including expiration dates. Offers will be labeled as "New Offers" until you click to activate them. Once clicked, an offer is labeled as an "Active Offer." Activating an offer does not earn the reward. After activating a reward offer, you must comply with the participating retailer's or service provider's offer terms in order to redeem the offer.

 

Do I need a code or coupon for an offer?

Participants do not usually need a coupon or code to redeem an offer. However, each offer has different specifications regarding redemption requirements and how much the participant needs to spend. Offers that must be redeemed online are clearly specified and may include a redemption code. Participants should read the offer details to determine how to redeem each offer.

 

How long do I have to redeem an offer?

Each offer has an offer period set by the retailer or service provider. Offers must be redeemed before the expiration date. The expiration date can be found in the offer details section of each offer. Offers must be redeemed before they expire. Once an offer has expired it cannot be reinstated. Please review all offer details, including expiration dates, on the Regions Cashback Rewards summary page.

 

Can I use any of my Regions CheckCards, Now Cards or checking accounts to earn rewards?
If you have multiple Regions checking accounts, CheckCards or Now Cards, you may receive offers tailored to your purchases for each of your accounts and cards. To qualify for a reward, the offer must be redeemed using the checking account and CheckCard or Now Card for which the offer was received.

 

Can my joint users on my checking accounts or Now Cards have access to receive rewards?

Yes, joint users on either checking accounts or Now Cards have access to receive rewards.

 

Someone I know received an offer I want. How do I receive that offer?
Since offers are based on personalized use of your CheckCard or Now Cards, you may only receive the same offer someone else received if you have similar CheckCard or Now Cards usage.

 

Can retailers or service providers see my account or Card or any other personal information when they make offers available to me?
No. Regions does not provide personally identifiable account or Card or any other personal information to retailers or service providers for the purpose of designing reward offers or making reward offers available to you, and participating retailers and service providers do not know that you, personally, have received any particular reward offer.

 

How do I stop getting offers (opt out)?
If you would like to stop receiving offers, you can click on the "Stop Receiving All Offers" link to the right of your transaction register in Online Banking. If you have multiple checking accounts with Regions you will need to opt out for each checking account for which you do not wish to receive offers.

 

Will I still earn Program rewards if I opt out?
Rewards earned prior to opting out will be credited to your checking account. You will not receive future offers unless you re-enroll in the Program. If your account is closed before a reward is credited to your account, the reward will be forfeited.

 

How can I re-enroll?
It's simple, if you opt out of the Program but later change your mind, you can begin receiving offers again by clicking "Enroll in Regions Cashback Rewards" to the right of your transaction register in Online Banking or by calling us at 1-800-4PC-Bank (472-2265).

 

When do I receive my rewards?
Your rewards will be deposited to your checking account or Now Card usually within 60 days of redemption. You may view the offers you have redeemed and the total value of the offers redeemed on the Regions Cashback Rewards Summary page.

 

What do I do if I haven't been receiving any offers?
Offers are tailored to your personalized shopping with your CheckCard or Now Card. Offers may be dependent upon the type of retailers and other service providers with which you use your CheckCard or Now Card. Also, the broader and more frequently you use your Cards the more likely you are to receive offers. You may want to check your enrollment status to ensure you have not accidentally opted out of the Program. If that is the case, you may re-enroll by clicking the enrollment link in Online Banking or by calling us at 1-800-4PC-Bank (472-2265).

 

Why did I not receive rewards when I made my purchase?
Your rewards will be credited to your checking account or Now Card usually within 60 days of the date of your purchase. You can check the Regions Cashback Rewards Summary page to review the status of your rewards or you may call us at 1-800-4PC-Bank (472-2265).
