In 2009, Regions Mortgage began a community outreach program called Raising Hands which encouraged each of our associates to volunteer a minimum of eight hours of community service, a total of 8,000 hours.
In 2010, Regions Mortgage Associates donated a total of 15,237 hours of community service. 109% of our goal of 14,000 hours. Just a few examples of some of their activities in 2010 were:
- Fundraising for Local Charities and Hospitals
- Make a Wish Foundation
- Conducting Financial Literacy Seminars
- Conducting Home Buyer Workshops
- Working in Community Centers
- Serving Meals and Donating Basic Need Items to Homeless Shelters
- Working Charity Tournaments to Raise Funds for Local Charities
