Protect yourself from the cost and embarrassment of overdrawing your checking account. Regions provides overdraft protection on most Regions checking accounts. Increments of $100 will automatically be moved into your checking account to cover any negative balances. Regions also offers these additional overdraft protection options:

Link your Regions Platinum Plus® Credit Card, Savings Account, or Money Market Account to your Regions Checking.
Whenever the balance in your account is less than a check presented for payment, we'll advance you the money to cover the check – a personal loan that you repay with interest.
Advances are made in $100 increments up to your credit limit.
Your minimum monthly payment is automatically deducted from your checking account each month¹.
