When you use Regions Online Banking you're protected. Guaranteed. When you use Regions Online Banking, you're protected from unauthorized access to your account. We guarantee $0 liability from unauthorized transactions such as funds transfers and bill payments.

Our Service Agreement outlines the specific guarantees as well as your responsibilities to ensure that your information is protected and bill payments are made on time.

Fraud
If someone should fraudulently gain access to your Online Banking account and send bill payments that you did not authorize, you pay nothing. Read "Your Role and Responsibilities" below to learn about unauthorized transactions.

On-time Payments
We guarantee that your bill payments will be sent to the payee you specify, on the date that you provide to us or we will pay the merchant’s late fees. In order to ensure that your payments arrive on-time you must submit your payment at least five business days before the payment due date. (Payment Due Date not included.) If you notify us of a problem, we will contact your merchant to resolve any payment problems and take responsibility for any late charges on payments not received by a merchant. Privacy
Your personal information is carefully protected. We will not sell or share your personal information with outside companies that want to sell you their products or services. The Regions Privacy Policy explains your privacy rights and how we protect your confidential information.

Security
We take Internet security seriously. Regions uses the latest technology to protect the confidentiality of your personal data and complies with all applicable banking regulations relating to the safeguarding of your data. Our Security Policy outlines the steps we take to keep your information secure.

"Your Role and Responsibilities"
Relationships are partnerships. It’s a two-way street. We are going to ensure that your information is safe, payments made on time and that your private information is secure, but we need your help.

  1. Protect your Online ID and Password. Do not give anyone your Online ID or Password. Do not save your Online ID and Password in your browser.
  2. If you believe that your Online ID and Password has been lost or stolen, call us immediately at 1-800-REGIONS (1-800-734-4667).
  3. Review your account statements every month. If you find a transaction that you did not authorize, you must tell us within 60 days of the date that your statement was delivered. If you do not tell us after 60 days, you may not get back any money you lost if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had told us in time. If a good reason, (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) kept you from telling us, we will extend the time periods.
  4. Submit your bill payments at least 5 business days before the Payment Due Date. The Payment Due Date is not included in the 5 days.
  5. Review your bills to ensure that your payment was received and applied by the person or company that you have paid.
