DAVID L. (CASEY) BOWLIN

David L. "Casey" Bowlin is President and Chief Executive Officer of Regions Insurance Group, Inc. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Regions Insurance Group, Inc. and Regions Bank of Memphis, Tennessee.

Bowlin entered the insurance brokerage business in l976 as a salesman with E.H. Crump & Co. and later became its President and a member of the Board of Directors. After Crump’s merger with Sedgwick, Inc. in 1987, he served as Executive Vice President and a member of Sedgwick’s North American Board of Directors and executive committee. He was also Board Chairman and CEO of Sedgwick Global Ltd. based in London, England. In 1998, Sedgwick merged with Marsh, Inc. and he was selected as a Managing Director of Marsh in charge of the global risk management practice.

In 1999, Bowlin joined Summit Global Partners of Dallas, Texas as its President and an equity founding stockholder. After the sale of this company, he joined Regions in March of 2004.

Bowlin earned a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia in 1969 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Executive Program in Insurance. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1970 – 1975 and was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain. He holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) degree. He was an underwriting member at Lloyd's of London from 1987 until 1997.

He has served on numerous civic, corporate and nonprofit Boards. He is currently active on the Board of The Jefferson Scholars Foundation of the University of Virginia and a past Chairman of the University's Board of Managers and the past President of its National Alumni Association. In addition, he currently is a member of the Boards of the Treazvant Manor Nursing Home and the American Bankers Insurance Association.
