W. A. "CHIP" HARPER

W. A. "Chip" Harper is the Chief Executive Officer of Regions Insurance Services, Inc. which was formed in 2004 after Regions Financial Corporation purchased Rebsamen Insurance of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Previously, Harper was producer, and manager of the Professional Association Group Department at Rebsamen along with oversight responsibilities for five (5) additional profit centers.

Regions Insurance Services, Inc. relocated to Memphis, Tennessee during the 2004 merger with Union Planters Bank. All bank insurance platform operations were then consolidated under the RIS banner.

With the acquisition of AmSouth Bank in 2006 additional platform insurance operations were added to RIS. Today RIS offers a wide variety of products and services including Title, Life, Debt Protection, Mortgage, Crop, Environmental, and Direct Marketing insurance programs with total annual revenue exceeding $20 million.

Harper is a 1976 graduate of the University of West Florida in Pensacola. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation in 1986 and his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2000.

Harper is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Harper currently serves on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas.
