MICHAEL R. MILES

Michael R. Miles is CEO of Indiana-based Miles & Finch Insurance, a member of Regions Insurance Group, with offices located in the cities of Kokomo, Carmel and Logansport.

He joined Regions Insurance Group in January 2007. His business career started with Miles & Finch, Inc., in 1975 where he served as President from 1979 to December 31, 2006. In 1974, he was an intern with the National Commission on Productivity in the Nixon Administration.

Mike serves as Special Advisor to the President for the Accident Fund Insurance Company, and is on the Agent's Advisory Council for Hanover Insurance Company and Secura Insurance Company. Mike was a founding member of Community First Bank of Howard County, and served on the bank's Board of Directors for five years.

Miles is actively involved in community affairs and is a member of the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Board of Directors in Kokomo and Indiana University-Kokomo's Board of Directors. He was on the Board of Directors for Bona Vista Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services (a center specializing in assisting the mentally and physically challenged) from 1992-1998, serving as Chairman in 1997 and 1998. He chaired the Kokomo Rescue Mission Capital Campaign which raised $2 million for a new building to help the homeless, served on the Eastern Howard Performing Arts Board from 2000-2003, and was a 20-year member of Rotary International. Mike was selected as City of Kokomo "Man of the Year" in 1998 for assisting the handicapped.

Mike is a 1975 graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the Kelley School of Business. He is a life member of the IU Alumni Association, a Hoosier Hundred Scholar Member of the IU Varsity Club, an IU Wellhouse Society Member, and a member of the IU President's Circle.
