Vitality is a comprehensive, interactive, confidential and personalized wellness program that makes it easy for you to make healthy choices. When you’re healthy, you look better, feel better and enjoy a better quality of life overall.

Whether you want to lose weight, stop smoking, become more physically active or learn habits that lead to better sleep, Vitality can help! Not only will Vitality help you choose personal health goals, they’ll also reward you as you strive to achieve them. You can participate and be rewarded for all the health improvement activities you already do, such as staying at a healthy weight or being physically active.

Who can use Vitality?
Vitality is available to all associates and their dependent spouses/domestic partners who are on one of the Regions Medical Plans (Core or Advantage). This program is provided by Regions at no cost to you.

How do I register?
To register, visit the Vitality website and enter your first and last name (the way your name is listed in Workday), date of birth and email address. When prompted for your Principal Member’s Employee ID Number, enter your Regions user ID in all caps.

How can I access Vitality?
Once registered, you can access Vitality from the website on your laptop or mobile device, as well as from Vitality’s mobile app, Vitality Today. From the app, you can interact with the program while you’re out and about — capture and submit athletic events, sports leagues, gym workouts and prevention activities, and participate in Active Rewards. The app is available for Android and iPhone free in the app store.

What’s my first step?  
If you’re ready to take your first step toward your healthiest life, here’s what you need to do:

  • Go to, complete all the required fields and accept the terms and conditions (See How do I register? above)
  • Take the Vitality Health Review™, a brief, confidential assessment about your current health status, health results, activities, habits, nutrition and lifestyle
  • Discover your Vitality Age® based on your lifestyle, behaviors and clinical measures

Tell me about the rewards!

  • You could earn $500 or more in rewards in a year
  • Plan the healthy activities you want to accomplish with the Points Planner to earn Vitality Points™, raise your Vitality Status® and receive the rewards you deserve. You are rewarded with Vitality Bucks® for all the points you earn. Vitality Bucks® can be redeemed on the website for fitness devices and gift cards to Amazon, Nike, Under Armour, Fandango, and more
  • In addition to points you earn, each time you advance to a new level, you will receive a gift card from Regions to redeem! Bronze to Silver = $25; Silver to Gold = $50 and Gold to Platinum = $100
  • After you complete your Vitality Health Review and your Vitality Check (a confidential screening that measures body mass index, cholesterol, blood pressure and fasting blood glucose) you will be rewarded with a $50 gift card

Rewards are considered taxable income by the IRS and as such will be processed through payroll as soon as administratively possible after you redeem the reward. They will be listed under the “Non Cash” section of your pay slip as “Wellness Award Imputed Income.” Only the required tax is deducted from your pay, not the amount of the reward.
