Emerging Talent Program

The Audit Development Program (ADP) Intern will participate in a variety of business activities designed to refine technical knowledge, foster teamwork, encourage networking, and demonstrate our Regions values. ADP Interns will gain experience in various areas of the banking industry by working alongside one or more of the Audit teams listed below:

  • Finance, Corporate Functions & Risk Management
  • Corporate/Business Banking, Credit Risk & Wealth Management
  • Consumer Lending & Compliance
  • Operations & Technology
  • Data Analytics
  • BSA/AML
  • Professional Practices Group

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation, execution and maintenance of an effective risk-based audit program that includes ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as Regions policies and procedures
  • Perform internal audit fieldwork in accordance with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing under the supervision of experienced auditors
  • Observe interactions with middle and senior management across multiple bank business units and provide recommendations for how to ensure and maintain an audit-ready environment

Requirements

  • Current college student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, including but not limited to Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Economics and/or Business Analytics
  • 3.0 minimum overall GPA
