Regions Enterprise Operations Summer Analyst Program offers internship opportunities to college students, which may include positions in Bank Ops Automation, Project and Performance Management, Cash Management, Contact Center, Collections, Loan Servicing, Compliance & Risk and Business Systems Support. Summer Analysts will gain hands-on experience and exposure to various initiatives in Enterprise Operations that streamline and automate processes to improve the client experience. Summer Analysts will operate as key team members supporting both internal and external client initiatives. Each Summer Analyst will be assigned to a specific Enterprise Operations team located primarily in Birmingham, Ala., with one intern in Hattiesburg, Miss. Summer Analysts will participate in centralized training sessions and have opportunities to interact with senior members to gain exposure to the various groups within Regions Enterprise Operations. The Summer Analyst position will be paid and last for approximately 10 weeks. Candidates demonstrating the Regions values, work ethic and leadership will be given preference in consideration of full-time Enterprise Operations Analyst positions.

 

Primary responsibilities:
  • Measure and compare current processes and workflows with identified procedures and policies, monitor processes and provide opportunities for improvement
  • Analyze data and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Participate in team meetings and projects

Qualifications:

  • Rising junior-level college student majoring in Business, Data Management, Math, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA in business classes
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven dedication to excellence and achieving results
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
