Emerging Talent Program

Finance and Accounting gather financial data from all areas of the bank, from individual branches to bank office departments, and prepares reports that are distributed to senior management, analysts, investors and regulators. The financial management of the company has become a complex and ever-changing environment, primarily as a result of the increased rules and regulations of Sarbanes-Oxley, Financial Accounting Standards Board and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Finance and Accounting work across the bank to strategically manage capital, drive growth and efficiencies, maintain financial reporting and proactively manage risk. We provide information, analysis and recommendations to improve results and drive decisions.

Finance and Accounting are organized to support the strategic and financial objective of each segment and ensure sound controls across Regions. Aligned with the bank’s structure, Finance and Accounting professionals either work in a corporate function or support one of our segments: Consumer Bank, Corporate Banking Group or Wealth Management.
