Payment assistance is offered in a variety of ways. We made be able to offer you a payment deferral or offer a loan modification. Some options can be approved over the phone, while others, such as a modification, require additional documentation. Please allow up to 10 days to process your request. If you request assistance for more than one Regions account, we may not process these requests simultaneously.
Yes, a request can be made. However, if you are currently in or previously had been granted an assistance plan, your request for additional assistance may require additional review, and the terms of a new plan may be different than those of current or previous plans. If your account is eligible for additional assistance, Regions will disclose the terms of the new plan to you, at which time you will be asked to accept these terms.
Yes. Interest will be assessed according to the terms of your account.
Any payment assistance we offer will not override any automatic payments you established through Regions or any other financial institution. If you authorized Regions to debit your payment each month, you should contact Regions to cancel the auto-debited payments.

If you set up automatic payments through an online or mobile banking service at Regions or another financial institution, you must log in to that service and cancel or suspend those.
Yes. You can always make payments during the payment assistance period, if desired.
You may resume making payments at any time if you no longer need assistance.
