Corporate Structure

Regions has two business groups – Regional Banking and Corporate Banking – that comprise 11 businesses. The Regional Banking Group includes the businesses that serve retail customers and small businesses, the Wealth Management Group, the branch network and its market leaders, as well as corporate marketing and e-Business. The Corporate Banking Group serves middle-market and large commercial customers and includes Real Estate Banking, Commercial Banking, and Corporate Banking.

Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., and serves markets which include growing cities such as Atlanta, New Orleans and Dallas. We deliver products and services to consumers through our bankers, branches, ATMs, online/mobile and Contact Center channels. Our relationship managers serve as the primary contact to our business clients and take the Regions360 approach to understand our clients’ needs, provide them with the best products and services to meet those needs and to help them achieve their financial goals.

  • Enhance Risk Management: Understand the risk we take and obtain appropriate compensation for that risk; ask every associate to take personal ownership and accountability for risk; proactively manage our strategy relative to emerging risks and regulatory expectations; optimize people, processes and technology to safeguard assets, ensure effective operations and identify risk.
  • Manage Performance: Set clear expectations and direction; monitor success and hold associates accountable; close the gap of variability; measure performance consistently; coach associates and celebrate success. 

Capital Deployment

Our deployment priorities are to return our dividend to a level more in line with peers, to invest in our businesses through organic and strategic growth, and to repurchase shares of common stock.
