The Management Associate Wealth Management Institutional Relationship Consultant (“MA IRC”) manages client administration, retention and sales support for a book of Institutional Trust relationships. The MA IRC is responsible for advice, proactive service, developing client, banker and center of influence relationships and prospecting for the purposes of generating new business opportunities, and participating in sales presentations.
As an MA IRC, you can expect some of the following responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships on a daily basis and attend client meetings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clients' objectives, identify and provide alternatives, and effectively communicate the potential impact to decision makers.
- Knowledge of the trust industry and effective sales techniques.
- Compliance review of plan accounts.
- Perform duties in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures and all applicable external regulations.
Successful MA IRCs possess the following professional skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Sales ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
Successful MA IRCs generally have obtained experience/education in the following areas:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, Finance, Financial Services, JD-MBA, Law, or a related field.
- Practical internship/ professional experience in Institutional/Retirement Services Administration and investments.
