Medical Coverage   Dental Coverage
  To give you peace of mind that you’ll have health insurance when you need it, Regions provides two levels of medical and prescription coverage (Core & Advantage) through Blue Cross Blue Shield. An extensive network of providers in every state is available through partnerships with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.     Good dental health is important, and that's why Regions provides comprehensive dental coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield for services ranging from x-rays and routine cleanings to fillings and orthodontic care.
Vision Coverage   Reimbursement Accounts
  The vision plan, provided by VSP, covers routine eye exams, as well as benefits for eyeglasses or contact lenses. VSP provides an extensive network of highly skilled and professionally certified optometrists and ophthalmologists.     Regions offers reimbursement accounts which will allow you to pay for the cost of medical, dental and vision expenses not covered by medical/dental health plans with “no-tax” dollars. You can also establish an account to pay cost of qualified dependent daycare expenses with “no-tax” dollars.
Life Insurance Coverage   Disability Coverage
  Regions provides basic life insurance at no cost to you. Regions also offers you the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance for you and/or your family.     In the event of a qualified disability, Regions provides coverage at no cost to you. You are eligible for disability coverage 90 days following the date of hire. Regions disability coverage includes benefits for both short-term and long-term disabilities.
401(k) Plan   Holidays
  The 401(k) plan gives you a great opportunity to save and invest. You are eligible to contribute on a pre-tax or Roth after-tax basis immediately. After a year of service, you are eligible to receive the company's matching contribution.    

Regions observes 10 holidays in accordance with the Federal Reserve System.

Paid Time Off   Parental Leave

Regions recognizes the importance of time away from work for leisure, rest and recreation. Regions provides a competitive vacation schedule to eligible associates according to their length of service and/or position. Regions also understands that unexpected emergencies will arise. Associates can earn paid time off which can be used for incapacitating injury or illness, the care of sick members of the immediate family, visits to a physician or dentist, or to satisfy the elimination period for Short Term Disability.


The Maternity and Bonding Leave plans reflect Regions’ commitment to families and the importance of work-life balance. Benefits are provided to associates (mothers and fathers) who are becoming parents through birth or adoption and need time to bond with their new child and/or recover from childbirth. Subject to the eligibility requirements, associates may use Maternity Leave and/or Bonding Leave to take paid time away from work for the birth or the adoption of a child under 18 years old.

Family and Medical Leave      

You may be eligible for up to 12 weeks (or up to 26 weeks of military caregiver leave to care for a covered service member with a serious injury or illness) during a 12-month period. The leave may be paid, unpaid, or a combination of paid and unpaid leave depending on the circumstances of the leave and as specified in this policy. View FMLA Notice.

Employee Assistance Programs

Regions provides a variety of attractive benefits including the following:

  • Regions' Employee Assistance Program provides convenient, confidential and free assistance to all Regions associates and their eligible dependents at no cost to associates.
  • Regions tuition reimbursement program offers assistance to associates for completion of undergraduate degree programs, subject to job applicability.
  • Wellness@Regions – Regions Corporate Well-Being program gives associates the opportunity to earn rewards by participating in a variety of initiatives for improving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
  • Regions Matching Gifts Program allows the company to match 100 percent of associate charitable contributions of $25 or more to eligible organizations.
  • Associate Home Ownership Program offers monetary assistance to associates for home purchases. (This benefit must be in conjunction with a Regions approved mortgage loan.)
