We're upgrading Regions My GreenInsights to provide you with industry-leading money management tools that will make banking easier. We're excited to offer automated budgeting, access to more financial institutions, and greater insight into your spending trends with interactive, colorful bubble graphs and charts. 

Here's what you should know

With this upgrade we'll be moving My GreenInsights to a new platform. For security reasons, we won't be able to automatically transfer your personalized information stored in the current version of My GreenInsights. We're confident you'll enjoy the new features, but we ask that you take important steps to avoid losing important information when the move happens early-to-mid December. 

The new My GreenInsights experience will be the same for both personal and non-personal accounts. As a result, if you're a small business customer, you'll notice changes on your dashboard and default views. While there may not be a one-to-one match in all functionality, we’re certain you’ll find the new platform is easy, helpful and secure.

What you can do to prepare for this change

Personalized Information

Your current personalized information, such as spending targets, goals, cashflow calendar, planning tools, alerts, retirement prediction models, or connections with non-Regions accounts will not be available to you after the upgrade. 

  • We recommend that you log into Regions Online Banking and make a note of your personalized information so you can easily reenter the data.
  • You'll need to add your non-Regions accounts after the upgrade.
  • You'll need to recreate your cashflow calendars, budgets, payoff goals, etc.
  • You’ll need to rekey or adjust any custom categorization at the transaction level.

Regions Accounts and Transactions

If you’ve used My GreenInsights in the past, your Regions account and transaction information will be preloaded dating back to January 1, 2021. 

  • Transactions prior to January 2021 will not be available.
  • Your transactions will be automatically categorized for you in the new My GreenInsights. Any transactions the system was unable to categorize will be highlighted for your review.
  • Going forward, you’ll be able to see up to 18 months of transactions, instead of 90 days (for example, starting on June 1, 2022, you’ll be able to see transactions dating back to January 1, 2021).

Non-Regions Accounts

Your non-Regions accounts will not be available to you after the upgrade. You'll need to reestablish your connections. You can easily add your non-Regions accounts from the Insights Accounts dashboard after the upgrade.

  • We recommend you make a manual note of your connected accounts or print the account summary page on the left-hand side of the current My GreenInsights page prior to conversion.
  • If you wish to make a record of your transactions and tags, select the Export Transactions button on your My GreenInsights dashboard to download to CSV file.
  • The file will contain your tags and categories so you can reenter them manually in the new My GreenInsights. There is no upload feature.
  • Your transactions at other financial institutions will display after you add the non-Regions accounts.

Closed/Archived Accounts

Closed or archived accounts  will not preload in the new My GreenInsights.

  • If you wish to make a record of your historical transactions, select the Export Transactions button on your My GreenInsights dashboard to download a CSV file.
  • You can still access your closed/archived accounts information in Online Banking by selecting “Online Statements” from the Accounts tab.

My GreenInsights Alerts

In the new My GreenInsights, you can set up notifications to let you know when you’ve exceeded your budget or when you’re close to exceeding your budget. There will be no other notifications for our budgeting tool at this time, though we are continually adding new features.

  • If you wish to receive notifications about certain transactions on your Regions accounts, we recommend that you set up Online Banking account alerts.
  • Online Banking account alerts can be customized to help you monitor your balance, track deposits and withdrawals, and more.
