Who is eligible to participate in the Relationship Rewards program?
To participate in the Program:
  • You must be the Primary Account Holder for at least one Checking Account or Rewards Credit Card Account;
  • Each Account must be open, and not overdrawn, past-due, delinquent, in default, frozen, restricted, closed, terminated, cancelled, expired, inactive, dormant, or subject to litigation or any adverse claim of any third party

 

Do I have to pay a fee to participate?
No.

 

Do I have to enroll in the Program?
Yes, you must be enrolled in the Program.
  • If you have a Checking Account (but not a personal Rewards Credit Card Account), you may enroll by calling the toll-free Rewards Contact Center at 877-883-0599 or by visiting a Regions branch.
  • If you have a Rewards Credit Card Account, you and your Rewards Credit Card Account are automatically enrolled in the Program. With a personal Rewards Credit Card Account, all of your Checking Accounts are automatically enrolled in the Program once your Rewards Credit Card Account is enrolled.

 

How do I enroll in the Program?
How you enroll depends on the kind of Regions accounts you have:
  • If you have a Checking Account (but not a personal Rewards Credit Card Account), you may enroll by calling the toll-free Rewards Contact Center at 877-883-0599 or by visiting a Regions branch.
  • If you have a Rewards Credit Card Account, you and your Rewards Credit Card Account are automatically enrolled in the Program. With a personal Rewards Credit Card Account, all of your Checking Accounts are automatically enrolled in the Program once your Rewards Credit Card Account is enrolled.

Earning Points

 

How do I earn Points?
Once you are enrolled in the Program with any Checking Account and/or Rewards Credit Card Account, you may begin earning Points by performing the qualifying activities shown below. You can continue to earn Points so long as Regions, in its sole discretion, determines that you and your Account are eligible for participation in the Program.

* Special Offers – From time to time, we may offer special promotions that allow you to earn additional Points for certain types or amounts of purchases on your Rewards Credit Card Account or for other specified activities. Any such offer will be subject to the Regions Relationship Rewards Program Terms and Conditions and any additional terms and conditions provided with the offer.

Purchases on the Rewards Credit Card Account – Points are earned for all qualifying purchases on all Credit Cards issued to the Account, including cards issued to any joint Account holders and authorized users (for Prestige and Premium Accounts), and cards issued to employees and business owners (for Business Enhanced Accounts), but only the Primary Account Holder may redeem these Points.

Qualifying Purchases – Points are earned on the purchase price of new retail purchases charged to your Rewards Credit Card Account. Points may be debited for any credit given to you in connection with a previous purchase (for example, when a purchase is returned). No Points are earned for balance transfers, cash advances (including purchases of items that can be traded right away for cash, such as wire transfers, money orders, traveler's checks, lottery tickets or casino chips), fees, interest charges, or for unauthorized or fraudulent transactions.

When Credit Card Points Are Credited – Standard Points earned on each Credit Card purchase will be credited to your Rewards Account within 10 business days after the charge for that purchase posts to your Rewards Credit Card Account. Points earned under a special promotion will be credited as provided in the offer. No Points will be credited if your Rewards Credit Card Account has been closed or is in default at the time those Points are to be credited to your Rewards Account.

  • First recurring automated deposit to one Regions Savings or Money Market Account each month - 10 points
  • Each deposit at an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) - 5 points
  • Each advance under a Personal Line of Credit (excluding advances for Overdraft Protection) - 10 points
  • Payments through Online or Mobile Banking
    • Each Bill Pay - 5 points
    • Each Personal Pay (P2P) - 5 points
    • Each Transfer to pay a Regions Credit Card Account, Personal Loan or Mortgage Loan - 5 points

* Special Offers – From time to time, we may offer special promotions that allow you to earn additional Points for certain types of banking activities. Any such offer will be subject to the Regions Relationship Rewards Program Terms and Conditions and any additional terms and conditions provided with the offer.

Relationship Bonus Points for Rewards Credit Card Account or Checking Account – You may receive Relationship Bonus Points for opening either a Checking Account or Rewards Credit Card Account, depending on the type of Account first enrolled in the Program:

  • If you used a Checking Account to enroll in the Program – You will receive Relationship Bonus Points for any one Rewards Credit Card Account that you open after enrollment. You also will receive Relationship Bonus Points annually as long as you continue to have the Rewards Credit Card Account while participating in the Program. You will not receive any Relationship Bonus Points for your Checking Account.
  • If you were automatically enrolled when you opened a Rewards Credit Card Account – You will receive Relationship Bonus Points for any one Checking Account that you have at the time of enrollment or open after enrollment. You also will receive Relationship Bonus Points annually as long as you continue to have the Checking Account while participating in the Program. You will not receive any Relationship Bonus Points for your Rewards Credit Card Account.

Monthly Recurring Automated Deposit – Points are awarded only for the first recurring automated deposit to a Regions Savings or Money Market Account during a month, not for any additional deposits to the same Account during the same month.

When Banking Relationship Points Are Credited – Points will be credited based on the type of Points earned:

  • Relationship Bonus Points will be awarded for only one Account in each category of Account types. Points for having and/or opening one of a certain type of Account will be credited as follows:
    • If you have the Account at the time you enroll in the Program – Points will be credited within 30 business days of your enrollment.
    • If you open the Account while enrolled in the Program – Points will be credited within 30 business days of your Account opening.
    • As long as you continue to have the Account while participating in the Program – Points will be credited within 30 business days following your enrollment anniversary date.
  • Points for enrolling in Online Banking and Points for the first log-in after downloading the Mobile Banking App will be credited within 30 business days after the end of the month in which the activity occurred.
  • Points for each transaction will be credited within 10 business days after the end of the month in which the transaction occurred.

No Points will be credited if, at the time those Points are to be credited, your Checking Account and/or Rewards Credit Card Account has been closed, or is overdrawn, past-due, delinquent, in default, frozen, restricted, closed, terminated, cancelled, expired, inactive, dormant, or subject to litigation or any adverse claim of any third party.

 

How many Points can I earn?
With the Regions Relationship Rewards program, there is no limit to the number of points you can earn.

 

When will my Points expire?
You may redeem your Points for rewards for a minimum of 48 months from the date on which they were earned. Each year any unredeemed Points that you earned at least 48 months ago will expire on the last day of the month in which your enrollment anniversary falls. For example, if you enrolled in the Program on April 15, 2014 and you earned 500 Points in June 2014, any unredeemed portion of these Points will expire at the end of April 2019. Points will be redeemed and expired in a first-in, first-out basis.

 

If my Regions Checking Account or Rewards Credit Card Account is closed, can I still redeem Points?
In the event each of your Regions Accounts is closed (whether by you or us), you will forfeit any Points that you have earned.

 

Where can I find out how many Points I have earned?
You can find out how many Points you've earned by logging in to Regions Online Banking and clicking on the Regions Relationship Rewards link located on the webpage that provides an overview of your accounts, or by calling the Rewards Contact Center at 877-883-0599.

 

What should I do if I think there's been a mistake in the number of Points I've been given?
If you are concerned that you haven't been given all of the Points you earned, please contact the Rewards Contact Center at 877-883-0599. Errors must be reported within 60 days after the date Points were, or should have been, credited.

 

Will my Points print on my monthly Rewards Credit Card or Checking Account statements?
Each Rewards Credit Card statement will show the Points earned on purchases included on that statement, but not any other Points. For Business Rewards Credit Cards, this information is included only on the statement sent to the business, and not on statements sent to individual cardholders. All other Points can only be viewed by logging onto Regions Online Banking and clicking on the Regions Relationship Rewards link located on the webpage that provides an overview of your accounts, or by calling the Rewards Contact Center 877-883-0599. Checking Account statements do not show Points earnings..


Redeeming Points for Rewards

 

How can I redeem my Points?
Once you have earned enough Points for a reward, redeeming is simple. You can:
  • Log in to Regions Online Banking then click on the 'Redeem' link located on the page that provides an overview of your accounts,
  • Call the Rewards Contact Center at 877-883-0599, and a customer service agent will assist with your redemption.

If the Primary Account Holder on any Rewards Credit Card Account is a business entity, Points can be redeemed only by the “Business Representative” identified in our records as the individual who is authorized to redeem Points and take other actions on behalf of that business. It is the responsibility of the business owner to establish internal policies, procedures, and controls on how Points are tracked, redeemed, distributed and used within the business organization. The Business Representative may arrange to have a Reward shipped to another person (if permitted for that type of Reward), or to have airline or other tickets issued in another person's name, but any cash or checks may be issued only to the business entity.

Our online redemption website is convenient and easy to use: it is available 24 hours a day, so you can check your total Points and request a reward whenever you have the time. You can shop for a reward, choose from the available options and make redemptions all without leaving your computer.

 

What types of rewards are available?
Regions Relationship Rewards offers a variety of exciting rewards including cash, retail gift cards (physical and e-Gift cards), merchandise, and travel options. Please visit the Rewards page for more details on all your reward options.

Examples of rewards items:

  • Merchandise - select from the latest and greatest items
  • Gift Cards - retail, dining, entertainment, travel certificates and more
  • Cash - redemptions starting at 2,500 Points
  • Travel - Airline Tickets with no blackout dates

 

Can I ever use dollars when redeeming for a reward?
For certain travel rewards, we may offer you the option to redeem using a combination of points and dollars or using only dollars. The availability of this option and the amount of dollars you may pay will be disclosed to you as part of the Points redemption process. If this option is available, you must pay using a Regions checkcard or Regions Life, Prestige, Premium, Business or Business Enhanced credit card.

 

I previously designated another individual (such as my wife/husband/son/daughter, etc.) as being authorized to redeem points on my behalf. Why are they no longer able to redeem my points?
As a result of some updates to the Rewards website, the designation of such authorized redeemers were removed. Please contact Rewards Customer Support (877-883-0599) to designate any authorized redeemer. Once you make this designation, the authorized redeemers will not be able to redeem points through the program website, but instead need to call Customer Support to redeem points.


Delivery of Rewards

 

Are there any limitations on where rewards can be shipped?
Rewards generally cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes and there may be limitations on items that can be shipped to FPO and APO addresses. You will be informed of these and any other limitations when you order any item, either online or through the Rewards Contact Center.

 

How long will it take to receive a reward?
In most cases, items are shipped within 48-72 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) from when you complete the redemption transaction online or through the Rewards Contact Center. There may be times when items take longer to ship. Gift cards generally are shipped 7-10 business days after the redemption transaction is completed.

 

Is expedited shipping available?
Yes. Expedited shipping may be available for an additional fee on select stock merchandise and gift card items. The availability of this option and the amount of the fee will be disclosed to you as part of the Points redemption process. You may be required to pay this additional fee using your available Points balance or using a Regions checkcard or Regions Life, Prestige, Premium, Business or Business Enhanced credit card.

You should call Rewards Contact Center (877-883-0599) with questions or issues about your order

 

Can merchandise be returned?
Yes. If merchandise is damaged or defective, you should return the item within 30 days after receiving it. If you wish to return other mechandise, you should contact the Rewards Contact Center at 877-883-0599.

 

How long is the warranty on the merchandise I receive?
The standard manufacturer's warranty is the only warranty on merchandise redeemed through the Regions Relationship Rewards Program and varies by product.

How do I terminate my participation in the Program?
If you wish to terminate your participation in Regions Relationship Rewards Program, please call the Rewards Contact Center at 877-883-0599 and speak to a representative.
  • If you have a Checking Account - You may terminate your participation without closing your Checking Account.
  • If you have only a Rewards Credit Card Account (but no Checking Account) - You must close your Rewards Credit Card Account in order to terminate your participation.
