What is Bill Pay?

Bill Pay is a service offered by Regions Online Banking that allows you to set up online bill payments to just about any company or person. You select which person or company you want to pay, and Regions Online Bill Pay allows you to choose an available pay date for a bill to be paid. There is no fee for standard Bill Pay transactions.

You can Add a Payee, review your Pending Payments, check Bill Reminders, view your e-Bills and more from one easy-to-navigate Payment Center. Additionally, with Regions e-Bills, you can elect to receive actual copies of your bills from participating merchants directly through Regions Online Bill Pay. You no longer have to wait to receive bills in the mail or log into your biller's site. E-Bills are available from hundreds of companies, including major utilities and retailers nationwide, so you can unify and centralize your bill paying. There are two expedited payment options available through the Bill Pay service:

  • Same day Bill Pay allows you to send electronic bill payments the same day to an approved biller. That means the biller has an agreement in place to ensure posting the same day. If this option is available, it will be visible when choosing a payment date on the calendar. Each same day Bill Pay transaction is subject to a fee of $9.95. The fee is deducted from your account the day the payment is initiated.
  • Overnight check Bill Payments are available for most billers in the 48 contiguous states of the United States. You must provide the physical address of the biller in order to send an overnight check Bill Payment. If the option is available, it will be visible when choosing a payment date on the calendar. Each overnight check Bill Payment transaction is subject to a fee of $14.95. The fee is deducted from your account the day the payment is initiated.
