FAQ

How do I make a principal payment on my loan?

You can make a principal payment on your loan by mail or at any Regions Bank branch. If mailing a principal payment, please designate this on the payment remittance coupon from the bottom of your statement, and on your check or money order. If making a principal payment in the branch, please instruct the branch associate that you wish to make a principal only payment.

We will then apply your principal payment to the principal balance after any past due amounts (including fees and other charges) are paid. Please note: if there is a prepayment penalty associated with your loan, you may be penalized for paying off your loan early. Review the terms of your loan to determine if this provision applies to you.
