What alerts are available in Online and Mobile Banking?
The best way to explore all of the available Regions Alerts is by logging in to your account online or in the app. You can change your contact information for receiving alerts, turn on individual alerts and more. You can also read more about alerts for up-to-date information.
Here are a few examples of account alerts:
- Daily Balance — Receive an alert once each day with your current available balance.
- Withdrawals — Receive alerts when certain transactions (debit card transactions, checks received for processing, account transfers, ACH debits, withdrawals made at a Regions branch) reduce your available balance.
- Credits & Deposits — Receive alerts when certain transactions (ACH credits and direct deposits, account transfers, deposits made at a Regions branch/ATM or from the Regions Mobile app) result in a credit or deposit to your account.
- Balance Threshold — Receive an alert once per day when a transaction causes your available balance to fall below or continue to be less than an amount you set. (Note: This alert may not be triggered by all transaction types.)
- Negative Balance — Receive an alert once per day when a transaction causes your available balance to drop below or continue to be less than $0.00. (Note: This alert may not be triggered by all transaction types.)
Here are a few examples of banking alerts:
- Security — Confirmation of password reset, profile preference changes and more
- Regions LockIt® — Updates about LockIt controls, such as blocked transactions
- Deposit Holds and Overdraft — Courtesy notices that provide details about certain holds on deposits and activity related to overdrafts
