How do I stop an alert that I set up?

For alerts, you can set preferences for push notification, SMS/text message or email delivery.

  • Once logged in to Regions Online Banking, choose the Customer Service tab and select Alerts.
  • In the Regions mobile app, find Alerts in the main menu.

If you’d like to stop receiving messages for our text banking service:

  • Text banking is managed using short code commands in text messages. To stop receiving messages, reply to an existing REGBNK text message with the word STOP. Messages from this service appear as REGBNK (734265).
  • In Regions Online Banking, select the Customer Service tab, then Alerts. In Alerts Preferences, select Manage Text Banking.
  • In the Regions mobile app, find Alerts in the main menu. Select Manage Text Banking.

Note: In addition to optional alerts, starting April 29, 2021, we will automatically provide you with email alerts on certain account activity. Email alerts for overdrafts and overdraft protection transfers will be expanded to include customers without electronic statements. We will also add optional text/SMS and push notifications to the existing automatic email alerts for certain holds placed on your deposits. Please be sure to keep your account-related email address and mobile number up to date so that you will receive alerts in a timely manner.
