What’s the difference between “Typically in Minutes” and “Standard” payments?
Within the Regions payments experience, we offer two methods and speeds for our customers to send money.
Typically in Minutes: When you send money with Zelle® through Regions Online Banking or the Regions Mobile app, the amount you send is available typically in minutes to recipients already enrolled in Zelle®.
Standard: Although Zelle® transactions can happen fast (typically in minutes), Regions also has the option of sending money with standard delivery. The recipient will receive the money within one to three business days, provided the transaction occurs prior to the applicable cut-off time*. Be sure to let your recipient know the money is being sent with standard delivery so that they do not expect it in minutes.
