How to Establish an Automatic Transfer

Step 1

Once logged in to Online Banking, from the Transfers menu, select Make a Transfer.

Step 2

Select the account you would like to transfer money from in the From Account drop-down menu.

Step 3

Select the account you would like to transfer money to in the To Account drop-down menu.

Step 4

Enter the Amount you would like to transfer.

If no decimal point is entered, the amount is assumed to be whole dollars and .00 will be automatically added at the end.

Step 5

Enter the date you want the transfer to be made by selecting the calendar icon and choosing the date.

For transfers submitted before 8 p.m. Central Time on a particular business day, the designated funding account will be debited that same evening.

For transfers submitted after 8 p.m. Central Time or on weekends or holidays, the designated funding account will be debited during the following business evening's processing.

If the account receiving the transfer is a deposit account (checking, savings, or money market), the funds will be credited at the same time as the funding account.

For loans, credit cards, or lines or credit, one additional business day is required for payment processing time.

Step 6

From the Frequency drop-down menu, choose how often you’d like this transfer made and then select Continue

Step 7

Set the duration for the series in one of three ways:

If you select Transfer Until Further Notice your automatic transfer will continue until you request to change or cancel it.

If you select Number of Transfers to Complete, enter the number of times you would like to send the transfer.

If you select Final Transfer Date, the automatic transfer will continue at the requested frequency until the final transfer date when it will expire.

Step 8

If you select Final Transfer Date and wish to pay a final amount that is different from your regular transfer amount, enter the amount in the Amount of Final Transfer field, then select Continue.

The Amount of Final Transfer field is optional.

Step 9

Review your transfer information, and select Submit to finalize the transfer. Select Previous if changes are needed. 

Step 10

You will receive confirmation of the successfully updated transfer. From this screen, you can print the transfer confirmation for your records.
