FAQ

How do I transfer funds between my accounts?

If you have Online Banking accounts, you can make both internal and external transfers using Online Banking or the Regions Mobile app.

  • Internal transfers move money between your Regions accounts — from checking to savings, for example, to and from your Regions lines of credit and even to your Regions credit card to make payments.
  • External transfers move funds to and from your eligible accounts at other participating banks or credit unions and your Regions checking, savings or money market accounts.

Transfers can be scheduled (planned in advance for a future date) and/or recurring (happening on a regular basis, such as every week or every month).

To set up and/or modify an internal transfer:

  • In Online Banking: Select Transfers from the main menu, then Internal Transfer. Select the accounts, date, frequency and enter the desired transfer amount and submit. To view or modify a scheduled transfer, select the Activity tab. (Same-day, one-time transfers are processed immediately and cannot be modified.)
  • In the mobile app: In the main menu, select Transfers. Choose Make a Transfer to set up a transfer between accounts. Choose View Scheduled Transfers to see transfer activity and modify any you have planned for a future date. (Same-day, one-time transfers are processed immediately and cannot be modified.)
