Can I transfer money using Text Banking?

You can make an internal transfer — moving funds between eligible Regions accounts — with Text Banking. You will first need to set up your Mobile Banking preferences and enable Text Banking from within Online Banking or the Regions Mobile app.

To transfer funds by text, send the transfer command (TRA) followed by the account nicknames to transfer from and to, and the dollar amount to REGBNK (734265).

For example, to transfer $100.00 from checking to savings, send tra ch01 sv01 100.

You will receive a confirmation number via text message when the transfer is successfully completed. Your mobile carrier’s messaging and data fees may apply when you use Text Banking.

External transfers are not eligible for Text Banking.
