A Regions Bank safe deposit box offers you a convenient way to secure and protect vital family documents, heirlooms, and a safe place to keep the items that you simply cannot afford to lose. This might include property deeds, birth certificates, stock certificates, rare family photos, passports, your home video inventory, jewelry, insurance policies and other important documents.
Benefits of a Safe Deposit Box
Safe deposit boxes are kept securely inside a bank vault. This means you have peace of mind knowing your valuables are protected in a location accessible only to you. Multiple box sizes are available to fit just about any storage needs you might have (subject to availability). Safe deposit box contents are not insured by Regions or the FDIC. You are responsible for insuring the contents.
Rental fee pricing varies by size of safe deposit box and state, and you can choose among three payment options:
- Have payments automatically deducted from your Regions checking or savings account (and receive a 10% discount off the standard price).
- Pay by mail and receive an annual notice.
- Pay at any Regions branch.
If you have or open a Regions checking account or savings account you can receive a safe deposit box discount ranging from 30% to 50% (depending on your account type). This is in addition to the additional 10% discount if payment is automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. Discount applies to one box per account.
