How do I change the type of checking account that I have?
A Regions Bank associate can help you. Please visit your nearest branch or call 1-800-REGIONS (734-4667). Your account number will not change if you change to a different type of checking account.
Please note existing accounts cannot change to or from a Regions Now Checking account due to special handling of Debit Card transactions. If you are interested in switching your current checking account to or from Regions Now Checking, the current account should be closed, a new account opened, and a new Debit Card ordered.
