FAQ
What is an example of the opt-in coverage option?
The bank may not authorize or pay an ATM withdrawal or an everyday (nonrecurring) debit card purchase transaction if you do not have available funds in your account to cover the transaction unless you have opted-in to Standard Overdraft Coverage for these transactions. If you have opted-in and we authorize a debit card purchase when you don’t have available funds, an overdraft fee may be charged if the transaction later settles and results in a negative available balance. However, if we authorize the transaction when you do have available funds, and the transaction later settles and results in a negative available balance, we will not charge you an overdraft fee.
