What is a balance transfer?
A balance transfer moves some or all the amount you owe from one credit card to another, often to take advantage of a lower annual percentage rate (APR) or another promotional offer. Regions doesn't permit balance transfers from one Regions account to another Regions credit card.
Balance transfers can help by paying off higher-rate credit cards and consolidating balances into one payment. Fees may be associated with your balance transfer. Learn how to request a balance transfer.
