To qualify for a LifeGreen Savings Account, you must have a Regions checking account. The minimum opening deposit amount for a Regions checking account is $50. The minimum opening deposit amount for opening a LifeGreen Savings Account is $50 (or $5 in branch if you set up a monthly automatic savings transfer from a Regions checking account). An automatic transfer of funds of at least $10 from your Regions checking account to your LifeGreen Savings account in at least 10 of any of the 12 calendar months that precede the month of your account opening anniversary (your “Account Anniversary Month”) is required to earn a 1% annual savings bonus. The annual savings bonus is based on the average monthly balance for the 12 calendar months that precede your Account Anniversary Month. The annual savings bonus will be paid to your LifeGreen Savings account by the second business day of the month following your Account Anniversary Month. To receive the annual savings bonus, your LifeGreen Savings account must be open on the date the annual savings bonus is paid. Maximum annual savings bonus of $100. You are responsible for any tax due on any amount received under this offer. Fees could reduce earnings on the account. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for the LifeGreen Savings account and the LifeGreen Preferred Checking (other Regions checking accounts do not pay interest) account is based upon balance and may change at any time. Regions Bank reserves the right to change the terms of or terminate this bonus program and prorate the amount of any bonus payment at any time in its sole and absolute discretion.
Regions Now Savings Builder Bonus: Each month a deposit of funds of at least $5 is made to your Regions Now Savings account AND you make no withdrawals from your Regions Now Savings account during that same month, you will receive a $1 credit to your Regions Now Savings account. The bonus will be paid by the second business day of the month following each month the bonus is earned. To receive the builder bonus, your account must be open on the date the builder bonus is paid. You are responsible for any tax due on any amount received under this offer. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for the Regions Now Savings account is based upon balance and may change at any time. Fees could reduce earnings on the account. Check the current APY.
Regions Now Savings Annual Savings Bonus: A deposit of at least $5 to your account each calendar month, beginning with the account opening month is required to earn a 1% annual savings bonus. The annual savings bonus is based on the average monthly balance for the 12-calendar month period preceding the month in which the anniversary of your account opening falls (your "Account Anniversary Month"). The bonus will be paid by the second business day of the month following your Account Anniversary Month. To receive the annual savings bonus, your account must be open on the date the annual savings bonus is paid. Maximum annual savings bonus is $100. You are responsible for any tax due on any amount received under this offer. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for the Regions Now Savings account is based upon balance and may change at any time. Check the current APY. Fees could reduce earnings on the account. An initial Minimum Load of $10 is required for a Now Card.
Special or promotional rates may apply to certain accounts, are for a limited time only, and cannot be combined with other bonus rate offers. Offer is subject to change at any time. Not available for brokered deposits, or to public entities, financial institutions, or Commercial Banking customers, as defined by Regions and/or as indicated in Regions’ records. Advertised Relationship CD rates and APYs only available for advertised term lengths if (1) opened at a participating branch using the “Find a branch near you.” button above; and (2) you meet the following Relationship Pricing requirements:
- The time deposit term must be at least 32 days; and
- The primary or secondary designated owner on the time deposit must be the primary or secondary designated owner on an open Regions Bank checking account in good standing during the term of the time deposit.
If you do not meet the bank's relationship requirements, your account will earn the lower Standard Pricing interest rates and APYs. Details about Relationship Pricing and Standard Pricing are disclosed in time deposit account documentation and disclosures and are available from the Bank’s customer service representatives. Please note that IRA and Private Wealth Management deposits are subject to separate pricing terms and do not participate in Relationship Pricing.
If you have a LifeGreen Savings account and do not have a Regions checking account, or if you close your Regions checking account, Regions reserves the right to convert your LifeGreen Savings account to a Savings account. We will notify you in advance if we convert your account.
At least one account holder must be age of majority in the state where the account is held.
In order to be eligible for and to maintain a Regions Now Savings account, you must be the primary cardholder on a Regions Now Card and you must keep the Now Card open and in active status. If your Now Card is closed or becomes inactive for any reason, or if we otherwise determine that you are not the primary cardholder on a Now Card, we may convert your Regions Now Savings account to a Regions Savings account. You may open and maintain no more than one (1) Regions Now Savings account at a time as primary cardholder. If at any time you are the primary owner on more than one (1) Regions Now Savings account, we may convert any or all of your excess Regions Now Savings accounts to Regions Savings accounts. We will notify you in advance if we convert your Regions Now Savings account to a Regions Savings account. Please see pricing schedule for full details. Regions Mobile Deposit requires a compatible device and enrollment in Online Banking. Regions' Mobile Load Fee and your mobile carrier's messaging and data fees apply.
Fee will be assessed for each withdrawal, transfer or payment (including checks) in excess of six per statement period. Transfers from one Regions account to another Regions account conducted in Regions Online Banking or Mobile Banking and automatic Overdraft Protection Transfers will not apply to this item count. See Pricing Schedule for more details. We will charge you no more than six (6) Excessive Withdrawal/Item fees per statement period.
Regions CDs are uncertificated time deposit accounts and subject to the terms and conditions of the Regions Deposit Account Agreement and other related disclosures, terms, and conditions.
Enrollment in Regions Online Banking requires eligible Regions accounts. To enroll in Online Banking, you must have either a Social Security or taxpayer identification number or use alternative enrollment procedures available by visiting a branch. Regions Mobile app, Alerts, Notifications, Text Banking and Mobile Deposit require a compatible device and enrollment in Online Banking. All are subject to separate terms and conditions. There is no fee to access Online Banking or the mobile app, but fees may apply to certain products and services offered through Online Banking and the mobile app. Mobile Deposit may be subject to fees. Your mobile carrier’s messaging and data fees may apply. You must be at least 18 years of age to use Regions Bill Pay or Zelle®. U.S. checking or savings account required to use Zelle®.
